We make every attempt to utilize environmentally sound practices both in the vineyard and in our packaging by focusing on sustainable practices. Mirage, Candy Mountain, and LeFore Vineyards are all farmed by Premier Partners with the environment in mind and contribute to the high quality wines we produce. American-made glass, naturally dyed labels, and natural conglomerate cork closures are just a few of the choices we have made to support this valuable trend in our industry. Everything we use from the vineyard is either returned to the ground as fertilizer or recycled into a new product.
100% varietals from the finest vineyards and regions of Washington combined with finest barrels from France and few from America is what Barrage Cellars is all about. Our winemaker is not against blending grapes of different varietals but prefers to showcase the elegance and nuances of single varietals from Washington State. Kevin's saying is " I don't blend grapes, I blend vineyards.."
Boudreaux Cellars is located on the Icicle River just outside of Leavenworth, Washington. Four miles off the power grid (the only winery in Washington State completely self-powered), Rob relies heavily on Nature in many ways to aid his wine making.
If there is a constant star in the world of Washington wines, that star is Brian Carter. Since his arrival in 1980 to the small Washington wine industry (only sixteen wineries) to today (over 500 wineries and growing weekly), Brian Carter's influence has helped propel the industry to the international presence it deservedly commands. His involvement as winemaker, consultant, and guide to dozens of wineries has helped elevate Washingtonwines from a regional industry to an international powerhouse. Among Brian's many accomplishments, he is the only three-time recipient of the Pacific Northwest Enological Society's Grand Prize.
Camaraderie Cellars is owned by Don and Vicki Corson who have made the Olympic Peninsula their home since 1990. Whenever we are at a wine festival we are often asked "Why Port Angeles?" Making wine in Port Angeles does seem a bit out of the ordinary since it is located on the "wet" west side of the Cascade Mountains and the grapes are from vineyards on the "dry" east side. But our answer is that although the winery is some distance from the grapes, ocean breezes from the Strait of Juan de Fuca make the Olympic Peninsula an ideal place for making wine.
I make wine that captures the essence of harvest. Awe inspiring fruit, handled with care, short hours from vine to the winery and a light hand combine to create a wine that shows the very best that fruit has to offer. My experience working in Washington State and New Zealand has exposed me to different philosophies and realities of place, time, and terroir. This has resulted in an integration of New World styles in one wine, Cedergreen Cellars. Food friendly, fruit forward with bright acid and respect for the earth it comes from.
Chatter Creek winery was founded in 1996 by Gordon Rawson whose vision was to make world class wines that showcase the unique and varied terrior of Washington State. Gordon started making wine as a hobbyist over twenty years ago while he was working for a fine wine distributor in the Seattle area. In 1987, he parlayed his enthusiasm for winemaking into a position at Columbia Winery where he had the opportunity to work with Master of Wine, David Lake. David’s style of management was to have his staff involved in all aspects of the winemaking process which allowed Gordon to both observe and participate in the artistic side of winemaking.
Gard Vintners is a family-owned and operated winery that seeks to capture the quality of their estate vineyard in the glass.
Gifford Hirlinger is a small family owned operation that started way back in 2001. It was in that year that the Berghan family purchased and began Berghan Vineyards in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley. It started out simply enough, growing grapes and selling them to local wineries. But after a couple of years they decided to complicate their lives by getting into the winemaking aspect of the business… resulting in Gifford Hirlinger. We know it's a long and hard to pronounce name, but it actually means something to us! We thought our family was new to the Walla Walla area, but as it turns out we have somewhat of a history here. On both sides of the Berghan family, we have a direct ancestor who was born in Walla Walla when their families crossed the country in covered wagons in the mid 1800's. So, Gifford and Hirlinger were the last names of those relatives on the paternal and maternal sides respectively
Our Mission is to create a collection of red wines designed make a good meal taste better. We have reached out to top vineyards in the Walla Walla and Columbia Valleys to produce approximately just 650 cases of these wines per year. We feel this limited production is consistent with our search for only the best fruit and vineyard partners.

As far as John Williams and Jim Holmes were concerned, the plan was perfect. It was an 84-acre swatch of desolate sagebrush and cheatgrass nestled between Red Mountain and the Yakima River. They did their research, of course, and as far as they could tell, the area was perfect for growing grapes. It had south-facing slopes, incredible hezel silt loam soil, and temperate sunny weather conditions. It didn't matter that they had to bring electricity in from 3 miles away or dig a well on their own dime. They were going to plant a vineyard, and it was going to be good.
A family-owned business, L'Ecole Nº 41 was founded by Jean and Baker Ferguson. Today, the winery is owned and operated by their daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Martin Clubb.

The Martinez Vineyard Estate and Alder Ridge Vineyard located just a few miles from their estate location on an extremely steep Southern facing slope, overlooking the Columbia River. The River has a magnificent effect on this vineyard by moderating the extreme summer and winter temperatures. A name that pays respect to a life and people that once depended on, respected and revered their environment and the living world. We and our children are committed ambassadors to this living world. Our commitment to compassion runs broadly across many constituents; people, planet and, never to be overlooked, all other non-human living beings who share our world. Our reverence for life securely encompasses the animals of our planet. We share a view that they are their own communities, like that of our native ancestors, like us today. They are their own nations. The totem is our connection to life; old and new, human and non-human.
Patterson Cellars is a family-owned winery. The wine is produced and bottled at the winery located in Woodinville. What began as winemaker Scott Pontin's high school FFA project has culminated into a 26-year legacy of estate winemaking. The Pontin family is no stranger to farming. Since 1954 Nesto and Delores Pontin have been farming on the same land. They began as turkey farmers until 1967 and sold concord grapes for juice to Yakima Valley Grape Producers, now Welch's. The family also farmed wheat, mint, potatoes and sugar beets and later planted five varieties of apples, which they still farm. Today Pontin del Roza is a thriving estate winery with over 100 acres of 10 varietals including: Riesling, Malbec, Syrah, Dolcetto, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere and Petit Verdot.

Sleight of Hand winery is the brainchild of winemaker Trey Busch and his partners, Sandy and Jerry Solomon. Born from a love of great wines and a passion for excellence, not to mention also having fun, Sleight of Hand Cellars is dedicated to producing extraordinary wines of place. Washington State is that place, and we believe that it is here that some of the greatest wines in the world are being made. Our wines are the results of intense practices in the vineyard including microscopic yields and, of course, hand harvesting. In the winery, we tend to allow the wines to evolve without much intervention. Our Bordeaux style blends see 20 to 24 months in barrel, and our syrah will see 11 to 15 months in oak. We think that you will agree, that these are “Simply Magical Wines”!
